Men's Health: Take Care Of Yourself Before It's Too Late
If Something Isn't Going Well, Go Get It Checked, Men (Women too!)
OK… so the story goes that men don't get themselves checked medically until something is really wrong. Hey, I'm that way, so when 5 or 6 things seemed to be going poorly for me, I scheduled a time with my doctor.
Here's a short video I created during the hours I spent today getting a stress test and an echo cardiogram. I had had a tightening in my chest, rapid (erratic) heart beats, beats that would skip, and one long dizzy spell one day.
When I added all of them up, I decided I should go see my doctor and ask to be sent to a cardiologist.
It has been said that the Number 1 symptom of heart problems (truly, not making this up) is: DEATH. People often laugh that nervous laugh of "oh, you're joking with me, right?" Nope, it's really true.
So if you find something isn't going well for you, go get it checked.
OK… I know many of us guys don't jump to the doc every time something is wrong… hey, I represent that as I said! But with the head and the heart, I figure we shouldn't fool around. It's kind of like on my car: tires, oil, coolant, and battery – you can save money elsewhere but stay after these!
So I went to the doctor… and everything seems to be fine. I know my peace of mind is WAY up since getting the "clean bill of health."
But how would I have felt looking if I HADN'T gone to the doctor and something WAS wrong. "Well, he kept telling me that things weren't right, but then he never did anything about it. We sure will miss Charlie (or Daddy).
It took me a while, but I went – and I recommend it for you too.
Hope you enjoy this short video.

Doesn't your family deserve to know you are OK? Mine sure does!
