First suggestion about your blog: write more often. When people click on a blog, they hope to see some pretty current material, and since yours are dated, it's clear when you've just written or when it's been a few weeks.

Are you linking from Facebook to your blog on a regular basis? Always surprising to me how many people see MY work from FB. AND… since Google is now indexing Facebook (which is fairly new) and Blogger (which it owns), you will rise in the rankings in Google.

I didn't study your blog, though I visited it: are you writing on the topics of the work you want! Are the keywords related to your proofreading, editing, writing? Could you do 7 Things You Want Your Proofreading To Catch, for example?

Keep passing the word in comments, as you did on my site: Google sees those too AND people see them – I'll pass on your info to others who might need your skills.
