How Can YOU Become A Professional BloggerHandling two of the Top 10 ways each week so that YOU can become a professional blogger (OR learn from professional bloggers so you can improve HOW you blog), here are two more I suggest: 9. A professional blogger knows how to build community, share ideas and get comments back. Pro bloggers know they need to help others before they can reap any of the rewards back to themselves. It’s a little like making a deposit in a savings account before you can get any money out… or planting seeds before a plant will grow, bearing fruit. So plant early and often to get your best harvest. 10. When I decided to become a professional photographer/videographer in 2000, I knew the technical aspects of doing both… but it took the commitment to DO it, to become a pro, to tell people I was a pro, to make my living that way. It’s not difficult: hang your shingle, so to speak, and call yourself a pro blogger. And remember to keep writing. Know what your topic is, find the keywords that are important to it, and write articles that will help your audience are that use those keywords. Write your passion and share it with others, and you’re on your way! If you have a favorite marketing method and will share it with all of us, I'll be sure to include your name and contact information here in our Ezine. Share Your Marketing Ideas Here! |

Facebook – An Ever-Growing Important Tool
One of the ways I start my day on the computer is to check my Facebook profile. I have been friended by lots of people interested in marketing and when I see that they have made a comment or posted an article or link, I comment on it.
Try it… see what it does to get more people to know you.
A friend and I (both students of Facebook and Social Marketing experts) have found that simply by commenting on someone else’s post (or even just clicking the “Like” button under a post), HIS friends see MY posts even those who are not friends of mine.
So on the “Home page” (not your Profile) when you see all those comments by those you have friended, please see the right hand column that says “Highlights.” You will see posts, notes, links from your friends in there AND you’ll see those from other people if you have made a comment about one of their posts OR if one of your close friends has done that.
Think how you can communicate more fully with this community, and let other people see what you are doing – you’re bound to get even MORE people noticing you and wanting to friend you.
Facebook continues to grow in popularity – and it’s importance to those of us who market or write online for a living.

Previous topics include: - I tell people that I’m “on a deadline” so that I won’t be asked to waste time that I should be working toward my goals. - I gave you a tip that I got from Dan Kennedy years ago: Only accept SCHEDULED telephone calls from clients. - I presented something that I’m “famous” for (and the envy of many of my friends stuck in a “job”): my DPS Time – Dreaming, Planning, Scheming. - I told you about SKYPE. - I told you to stay away from TV, radio, newspapers, etc until late in your day – keep your engine running well with positive, uplifting, spiritual or meaningful messages instead. - I suggested that you watch other industries, not just your own. - I said that you should join a local business group to stay in touch with others. - You also read about Setting Up A Blog. - And I urged you to use video in a blog. - You were urged to improve your writing online – it’s easy when you learn how! – I told you that people ask me if they should put their videos on YouTube and other video-sharing sites and I said Yes… and No! – I showed you how to create a Marketing CAMPAIGN every time to market something. - I presented information about the service you sell vs. a product. - When things go wrong around your home was a topic. - Then there was the topic of finding materials to blog about. - We chatted about emailing from your phone. - Then we chatted about the fun I discovered using video from my cell phone. - MeetUp.com – I told you how it helps gather people from around the area to meetings (and how YOU can set up your own). - We chatted about creating a community service project that helps THEM and helps YOU. - We reviewed YouSendIt.com when you need to send large files electronically. Today let’s look at using still photos to improve your blogging. Attached to my work bag is my small digital camera and in the zipped pouch is my Flip Camcorder. I also have my HTC Ozone phone with me, and it has both a camera and a video camcorder, though neither is as good as my little camera or my Flip. (My “little” camera distinguishes it from my Nikon D2x which I use for Weddings, Family Portraits, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs – it’s a bit heavy, delicate, and expensive to strap to my belt or dangle from my work bag wherever I go.) Keeping your tools with you all the time allows you to USE them whenever you want… you don’t have to think ahead about an occasion being “special” – you’ll always be able to capture still or moving images to add to your blog or Facebook profile or Page. Start using them – your blogs and Facebook profiles (or Pages) will be MUCH more interesting with stills and video on them. And you’ll attract more people to you… and after all, we use our blogs and Facebook profiles and Pages to attract attention before we can sell people “things.” So use everything you can to attract the best attention you can. The Invisible Touch
I repeat this because I’ve added so many more posts on my blog since I wrote about this last… it’s an idea YOU can copy. Take a book, rephrase what goes on in it, and make a blogging series. Here’s what I’ve been doing:
Harry Beckwith wrote a sweet little marketing book called The Invisible Touch.
I have been blogging about it – the same way that Julie Powell blogged about Julia Child’s cookbook.
I hope you’ll take a look to see if you enjoy what I’m writing.

Insider's Secrets to Marketing Your Business On The Internet I studied with the Internet Marketing Center's team in NYC and in front of 300 or so attendees, they tore apart three websites and created new, more effective ones: my photography site was one of them. And their "Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet" Course is first-rate: if you want to sell anything on the Internet, you really should get that course (manuals, CDs, Videos, examples, templates… wow, it's jammed). Derek Gehl and Corey Rudl before him were each a member of Dan Kennedy's Platinum Inner Circle and frequent speakers at Internet Success events. This company has some of the sharpest minds anywhere on the planet, and since I have used this product thoroughly, I highly recommend it. And since I first used it a few years ago, they have added audio information for your iPod, videos, and all the latest information that you will need to produce winning/selling websites. This is the real deal and I still refer to my copy often. Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet – Click Here To Get Your Own Copy! |

Differences Between Men and WomenPeople in relationships often have strong expectations that their partner will be just like they are: exhibit the same attitudes, values, perceptions, and behaviors. However, we know that you will not change your partner's attitudes and behaviors unless they themselves are motivated to do so. You are even less likely to change their basic gender characteristics. So it is very important to educate yourself as to the basic gender differences which exist between men and women, and accept the fact that the differences are there, they are real, and they are not going away. In this way you can learn to use the differences as a way to enrich your relationship rather than to damage it. Are Men and Women really different? Let's look at the evidence in a variety of areas of life. Note that these findings are generalizations and summaries that apply to most men or women, but not to all men or all women. 7. SUMMARY Did you just hear something from a woman and thought it needed translation? Did you recently say something that was totally unintelligible by your spouse?
